"When you go 1-0 down and down to ten men as well, you fear the worst but all credit to ourselves and Owen Morrison. He stepped up and saw a wee chance there ....

Greg Shields commented after the match:-

"We deserved a bit more out of the first half.  I thought we were the better team in the first half and although it probably wasn't a good game to watch but we got in behind them and created a few chances.

"I thought that it was a stonewall penalty with Bamba. When you look across at the linesman, he is further up than the referee is probably in line with Bamba.  You think right away that it is a penalty but you can't really put it down to just one decision although I felt it changed the way the game went.

"Bamba got sent off later.  That's disappointing because that is player sent off in every league game of the season so far.

"It seemed a soft penalty.  I was looking right across it, Steven Craig has run across Bamba and there has probably been a little bit contact but it is whether Steven Craig could have got the ball on the other side.  I don't think he could have because there is no one quicker that Bamba over five yards in Scottish football. I don't think he was going to get it but the referee sees it differently.  The linesman could probably have helped us out there but he never.

"When you go 1-0 down and down to ten men as well, you fear the worst but all credit to ourselves and Owen Morrison.  He stepped up and saw a wee chance there and beat the goalkeeper with a great free kick from 25 yards.  He was unfortunate with the one after that.  The wee man says that was going in the top corner as well. You won't believe that because we know Owen Morrison is a wee joker.

"When you go 1-0 down you are happy with a point but overall disappointed not to get three.  It is one point after three games it's disappointing and everyone in the dressing room thinks the same way as I do. It is going to be a long hard season and the sooner we get the win the better.

"When you speak to people who have been in this league before, like Stevie Crawford, he says when you get a win hopefully you go on a roller after that. We had a great run towards the end of last season when you feel that you are never going to get beat.  Hamilton have shown us that.  They beat us first game and now they are on a great run winning the next two.

"The league is wide open and everybody is capable of beating each other. We have shown that with three games gone so far.  I think a lot of the teams who started favourites are down the bottom half of the table.  We have all these teams to play three or four times still.

"We have a good enough squad - a lot of players.  We have come out of it before and it is a big test for us. Next week is massive - Stirling at home - the Manager will prepare us well for it."
